MDSI EU is both a system provider and integrator of combat proven systems. Specializing in mission computing and expendable control systems, MDSI EU, and its collaboration partners are fully capable of mission system provision and integration of a 5th generation aircraft like the MQ-25.
Using an alpha version of the QUANTUM EYE DIODE (Digitally Integrated Operations – Development Environment) equipped with a 5th Gen Virtual Test Bed and KNOWLEDGE POINT, which provides authoritative information and training, MDSI US is conducting deep explorations of system architectures and edge devices for Northern multi-domain situational awareness operations. The MDSI US results will inform MDSI EU product and service development roadmaps and collaboration paths.
Initially, LEADING EDGE concept exploration will use DIODE and the 5th Gen Virtual Test Bed to explore a resilient hybrid network for QUANTUM EYE that is based on Iridium, Inmarsat, and cellular infrastructure. Using this infrastructure, and adversary information provided through KNOWLEDGE POINT, alternative solutions for assured commercial digital communications and position, navigation, and timing information will be examined. In addition, LEADING EDGE will explore big data management, cloud and hybrid-cloud storage, and data access including multi-level security and data assurance.
